Taiwan Giant bike company's Q2 revenues up 47.7 percent from Q1

According to Economic Daily News, Giant company, which makes bikes under the Giant brand, finds it hard to keep up with orders as demand for bikes has surged due to Covid-19. Giant's Quarter 2 revenues hit a record 19.7 Billion Taiwan dollars (US dlrs 6.5 million), up 47.7 per cent from Q1 2020 and up 22.9 from Q1 of 2019. For the first half of 2020, Giant's revenues totalled 33 billion Taiwan dollars (US dlrs 11 million), up 7.6 per cent from Q2 of 2019. EPA/DAVID CHANG
